Visakhapatnam: Women empowerment and protecting of their rights are the top priorities for the state government, said minister M. Srinivasa Rao on Saturday.
Addressing a self help group meeting at Vambay Colony here, the minister said that the women empowerment was on the list of Navaratnalu and the government would strictly implement the programme without any deviations.
Talking about the Vambay Colony issues, where 2,400 families reside, the minister assured that all the issues would be sorted out within six months.
