‘Echo’ Fireworks for Kodiyettam
The traditional Kodiyettam fireworks using gundu, amittu, dynamite and palm leaf cracker was replaced by an authorised 25-mm diameter Sivakasi-made fireworks named ‘Sivakasi Echo’ by Thiruvambadi. However, as the collector did not permit the use of traditional fireworks, Paramekkavu did not conduct any fireworks.
