Hyderabad: Miraculous escape for 3 as car hits divider, overturns
The incident led to a traffic block on the busy road for about an hour.
Hyderabad: Three passengers travelling in a car coming to Hyderabad from the airport had a miraculous escape when their car overturned after hitting a road divider at Shamshabad on Saturday. The incident led to a traffic block on the busy road for about an hour.
Police said that a person was driving his car from Airport towards Hyderabad. When the car reached Siddanthi village he lost control over the vehicle and hit a road divider. The vehicle immediately overturned and came to a halt in the middle of the road.
Passersby who saw this pulled out the driver from the vehicle and rushed him to hospital. Police also rushed to the spot, moved the vehicle from the road and cleared the traffic.
"The car was badly damaged but passersby said the driver had only minor bruises. We registered a case for vehicle damage," airport SI L. Ramesh Naik said. Police said they will proceed as per law after recording the statement of the driver and seized the vehicle.
