Hyderabad: Two construction workers, Yadaiah and Janardhan, suffered injuries due to an electric shock in Meerpet. The incident happened when the centring rods they were carrying came into contact with electric lines.
Victims are residents of Gandhi Nagar under Meerpet police station limits. On Tuesday, the owner of an under construction building in Lenin Nagar hired them for the centring works on the first floor of the building.
While carrying centring rods to the first floor, the rods came into contact with the electric cables passing by the house.
They suffered electric shock and sustained injuries. They were rushed to a nearby private hospital, where they are said to be out of danger.
