Pick any car of your choice, Anand Mahindra tells armless archer Sheetal Devi

Industrialist Anand Mahindra is very active on the social media circuit. He is known for recognising talent and innovation. Frequently, he even awards them with their company products and even offers jobs in their company.

In such an attempt again, he posted an inspirational video introducing Sheetal Devi, world’s first armless archer who represented India and won medals at the Asian Para Games. Mahindra offered Sheetal a car in their range and promised to customize it for her use.

The video shows how Sheetal Devi overcame all odds in her life and pushed herself into the uncomfortable zone to emerge victorious. Though not having both hands, Sheetal Devi is pursuing education, climbs trees, shoots arrows and lives life to her full.

Fortunately, even my classmates did not consider me as differently-abled. They are very amicable to me, Sheetal said.

Finally, turning the pages of the book ‘Being You-Against All Odds’ she says hard work and determination would drive away all shortcomings in one’s life.
