Hyderabad: A 20-year-old ITI student committed suicide on Saturday in RC Puram over a suspected love affair. The boy, identified as Shekar, jumped in front of a running train, the police said.
V. Shekar, hailed from Velimala village in RC Puram mandal in Sanga-reddy district. After completing his intermediate, he joined for a degree course, but later discontinued.
A few months later, he joined an ITI institute in RC Puram. On Saturday morning, he left home for college and around afternoon his body was found on the railway tracks at RC Puram. Based on his college identity card details, police identified him and alerted his family.
