Amit Shah to attend Bharat Dharma Jana Sena birthday fete

The party policy and future programmes will be declared on the occasion.

ALAPPUZHA: The BJP national president Amit Shah will inaugurate the first anniversary celebration of Bharat Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS) to be held at Kochi on December 5 Speaking to reporters, central committe chairman Thushar Vellappally said that as many as 8,000 office bearers will take part of celebration. “Rajeev Chandrasekhar MP will also attend the function. The party policy and future programmes will be declared on the occasion. We will officially kick off the functioning of our party's women, youth, students’ wings and trade unions as part of the annual celebrations,'' he said.

“We are happy with the NDA and will continue to part of it. If the BJP gives corporations and company posts to the BDJS, we are happy and if they do not give any such posts, we don't have any issues even then,'' he said. Meanwhile, the new state committee constituted at the state executive meeting was held at Cherthala. Mr Thushar was elected as the new president of the state committee. There are new eight vice- presidents including Akkeramon Kalidasa Bhattathiri. The state committee is also having eight general secretaries, including T.V. Babu and Subash Vasu. A.G. Thankappn is the treasurer. The state executive also elected new 24 state secretaries for their party.
