Vijaya Babu gets charge of Telugu development authority

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh government has appointed chairman of AP Official Language Commission P. Vijaya Babu as in-charge chairman of Telugu Language Development Authority.
Special chief secretary (Linguistics) Rajat Bhargava issued an order in this regard on Wednesday.
Prof. Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad had been holding the charge as chairman of Telugu Language Development Authority. He resigned from the post in October 2022. Since then, Telugu Language Development Authority has been without a chairman.
Vijaya Babu thanked Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for the trust placed in him.
