Survey is a mind game: BJP
Hyderabad: BJP Legislature Party leader G. Kishan Reddy on Sunday said Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao wants to play mind games with the people of Telangana by releasing a bogus survey which states that the BJP is not going to get a single seat in the next general election. This will be proven utterly false, he said. He was reacting to survey results released by the Chief Minister at a TRS party meeting. He questioned how minister K.T. Rama Rao, who got a lower performance rating just two months ago, suddenly became so popular (in the survey ratings). This only shows that the survey is a bogus one.
He said everybody knew that K.T. Rama Rao rarely visited his constituency, and toured foreign countries most of the time, yet the survey showed him to be one of the top performers. He pointed out that while it was normal for political parties to conduct their own surveys, these were never publicised to create hype. He said the Chief Minister was very worried about the BJP’s popularity in the state after the visit of the BJP’s national president Amit Shah last week, and this has forced him to release the survey and play a mind game on people to suggest that the people are with him. "People are laughing at the survey results that say the TRS is going to get 111 seats out of 119 seats in the state," Mr Kishen Reddy said.
