Thiruvananthapuram: Major schools in the city have registered 100 percent pass in the CBSE Class 12 exams. At Sainik school Kazhakootam scored a cent percent results, 69 of the 70 cadets appeared for the exam scored above 60 percent whereas the remaining one scored 59. Four scored more than 90 percent and 39 the distinction. Among the 140 students who took the exam from Christ Nagar Senior Secondary School, Thiruvallam, 98 secured distinctions and 40 first class. In the Science stream, Samreen Fathima is the topper with 97.4 percent marks followed by Lakshmi Gouri (96.4) and Rita E. Baben (96.2). In Commerce, Shreya P. Nair came first with 95.2 percent followed by Geethu S. Das (94.2) and Abhinav V. Sreekumar (88.8).
Saraswathi Vidyalaya, Vattiyoorkavu saw all the 331 candidates getting first class - 149 of them distinctions and 46 more than 90 percent marks. St Mary’s School, Poojappura, had 74 percent distinctions and the rest high first classes. The top scorers are Amulya B. Nair (96.4) in Maths-Biology, Minupama G.S (96.2) in Maths-Computer and Midhusha Mohan (90) in Biology-Computer. Kendriya Vidyalaya, Akkulam, topper in Science, Himanshu Shukla, scored 487 marks out of 500. He scored 100 in Maths. Gaurav Saini who scored 477 is the topper in Commerce. The school average is 80.6 percent marks with 15 scoring above 90 percent and 52 above 75 percent.
Of the 317 students who wrote the examinations from the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, 316 passed. In shift I, Maria Karan Joshua got 97 percent and topped science group, Nila Nair (93.4) commerce and Fibin Filal (93.4) Humanities. Chinmaya, Vidyalaya, Attukal: 34 of the 74 got distinction and 34 first class. Harisankar S. (95.2) topped science stream and Devikrishna (93.4) Commerce. In shift II, Aswin Swith (95.6) topped science and Sreeanjana (92.6) commerce. In both shifts together, 44 got 90 percent. Lal S. Krishan (90) is the topper at Sai Krishna Public School Chenkal, which also scored 100 percent. Dr GR Public School, Neyyattinkara: Three got all A1, 17 above 90 percent, 70 distinctions and 38 first classes. MTM Senior Secondary School Pulippara, Pangode: All scored 60 percent. Sivaduth Chandran (95) got A1 in all subjects while Fathima LS. (95), Muhammed Shan S (93) and Roshna Najeem (91) came at the top. Blue Mount Public School, Thonnakkal: 11 out of 30 got 80 and 17 students 60 percent. Sree Chithira Thirunal Residential School, Kunnathukal and Sree Chitra Public School, Chirayinkeezhu also bagged 100 percent pass.
