CBSE Class XII results: Kochi schools win big

Most CBSE schools record 100 per cent success.

KOCHI: Most of the CBSE schools in the Central Kerala region registered impressive performance in the Class XII results declared on Sunday by recording cent percent success. Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir Elamakkara which presented 172 students and brought out all with flying colours had 123 distinctions, 43 first classes and 10 A1 in all subjects. At Bhavan’s Girinagar, all 147 students crossed over with 98 students getting distinction, 141 getting first class and 16 getting A1 in all subjects. At Bhavan’s Eroor, 194 students passed with 131 getting distinction, 59 getting first class and 29 A1 in all subjects. All 138 students at Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad, romped home with 107 getting distinction and 136 getting first class and 11 getting A1 in all subjects. At Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya, Thrikkakara, 93 out of 93 passed with 79 getting distinction, 14 first classes and 17 A1 in all subjects while at Bhavan’s Munshi Vidyashram, Thiruvankulam, 72 out of 98 students got distinction.

A total of 24 students got first class and 6 got A1 in all subjects. At Bhavan’s Newsprint Vidyalaya, Velloor, 75 students passed while 61 got distinction, 14 first classes and nine A1 in all subjects. Anjali Raj of Girinagar and Sharmada R Nair of Eroor turned toppers across all streams in Bhavan’s schools by securing 488 out of 500. At SBOA Public School, South Chittoor, Kochi, all 107 students passed with 52 distinctions, 49 first classes and one A1. School topper was Rahul Raj with 482 marks. At Christu Jayanthi Public School, Kakkanad, all180 students passed while 26 students got A1 in all subjects and 153 got distinction. Anne Varsha John with 486 marks was the top scorer.

At Vidyodaya Thevakkal, all 135 students passed with first class, 16 students got A1 in all subjects and 112 got distinction. At Greets Public School, Kaloor, all 32 students passed with 14 securing distinction, 13 first classes and one A1 in all subjects. At Toc H Public School, Vyttila, 100 out of the total 147 students got distinction, 13 students got A1 in all subjects while 138 students secured first class. The Choice School, Tripunithura, too secured cent per cent success and out of 168 students who appeared, 152 secured distinction. A total of 19 students secured A1 in all subjects while all 168 got first class. Out of the 131 students at Al Ameen Public School, Edappally, 72 got distinction and 59 first class. At the Al-Ameen Schools at Edathala, Sreemoola Nagaram and Chanthiroor, 75 per cent of those who appeared got distinction while all got first class. MET Public School, Perumbavoor, too secured 100 per cent pass with 60 per cent getting distinction and 40 percent first class. At Campion School, Edappally, all 121 students passed with 72 distinctions and 47 first classes. (List incomplete).
