UAE company to invest Rs.1500 cr, set up unit in AP

Mulk Holdings has come forward to set up a manufacturing hub at a cost of Rs 1,500 crore

Vijayawada: A delegation of Mulk Holdings led by its international chairman Nawab Shaji ul Mulk met Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at the camp office here on Tuesday and discussed their business plan in Andhra Pradesh.

Mulk Holdings has come forward to set up a manufacturing hub at a cost of Rs 1,500 crore which will provide employment opportunities to 1,000 people directly and another 2,000 people indirectly, at EMC Kopparthi in YSR district.

The company said it would set up units for manufacturing of aluminum coils, high performance paints used for coil coating, aluminium coil coating production lines, film manufacturing unit, mineral cores production lines, aluminium composition panels and metal composite materials production lines.

Mulk Holdings, headquartered in the UAE, had signed an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh government in the presence of the now-deceased IT minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy in Dubai.

Company vice-chairman Adnan ul Mulk, Zulfi Ravdjee, the state government special representative in the Middle and Far East, industries special chief secretary Karikal Valaven, J.V.N Subramanyam, managing director and vice-chairman of the AP Industries Infrastructure Corporation and other officials.
