Vijayawada: Eamcet aspirants face tense moments
VIJAYAWADA: The candidates, applying for Eamcet, felt tense moments as the server gave trouble to them for sometime. The last date for submission of online applications, without late fee, is March 29. Accepting online applications began on 28th February. With Thursday being the last date for submission of online applications, there was a long queue at the internet and Mee Seva centres. The website on which the aspirants have to apply on http://www.sche.ap.gov/eamcet could not be found this morning.
Those who wanted to enter into the engineering, bio-technology, B.Tech. (dairy technology), B.Tech in agricultural engineering, B.Tech in food science and technology, B.Sc. (Ag), B.Sc. (Hort), B.V.Sc. & A.H, B.F.Sc, B. Pharmacy, Pharma. D have to apply on or before 29th March. The students and parents complained that the site has not been working properly for the last few days. They said if they fail to submit their application on time, they have to pay an additional amount of Rs 50, for acceptance on or before 6th of April and they are enabled to pay the additional amount. They are requesting the authorities to solve the problem and to allow them apply online for two more days without late fee as the problem is from the organiser's side.
Dr Ch. Saibabu, convener, Eamcet, JNTU, Kakinada, told Deccan Chronicle: “The server is not fast. With many people logging into the site at the same time, there is a problem.re is a problem. We will solve it immediately.” of speed of the server, several students will login into the site at a time, as these are the last days, we will rectify the problem with an immediate action for the convenient of the Students”. “We didn't receive any complaint regarding the optimisation of search engine if it is there our professionals will rectify immediately“added Dr Ch Saibabu.
Downloading of EAMCET Hall tickets will be available from 18th April with the website http://www.sche.ap.gov.in/eamcet. The Examination will be held from 22nd to 26th April.
