Adilabad: It was a memorable get-together for former MLAs, MPs, ministers, leaders of various political parties, businessmen and scientists, who studied in the Government degree college of Mancherial from 1975 to 1990 when they took an enthusiastic part in the old students’ sammelan on Sunday.
The event, held in a private function hall in Mancherial town, attracted the presence of over 1,200 old students, including many settled abroad, who went back in time to recall the ‘good old days’.
Former MLA K. Premsagar Rao, an alumnus, took the reunion initiative. Former minister Boda Janardhan, former MLC Puranam Satish, former municipal chairman Mangilal Somani, former MP Seetharam Naik, and Chakrapani, who worked as a lecturer in the college, and others participated.
