Hyderabad: 21 including theatre owner held for black marketing of Baahubali tickets
Hyderabad: The police in Hyderabad on Friday arrested 21 people including a theatre owner for allegedly selling tickets of the film "Baahubali-2: The Conclusion" in black market.
"Baahubali-2:The Conclusion", long-awaited sequel to the 2015 multilingual drama by director S S Rajamouli, released on Friday.
Police arrested seven people from three theatres in the limits of Cyberabad Commissionerate here including P Rajesh, a theatre owner, and N Prasad, an employee, for selling tickets at higher prices, said inspector Shanker Yadav of Special Operation Team, Balanagar Zone.
In Rachakonda Commissionerate limits, police nabbed 14 persons for black marketing of tickets, said inspector K Narsing Rao.
Police seized hundreds of tickets from the accused, who were booked under the AP Cinemas (Regulation) Act and Hyderabad City Police Act.
