Close shave for Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan as car rams posts
Thiruvananthapuram: Kottayam MLA Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan and his aides had a miraculous escape when the car in which they were travelling rammed into three electric posts and a gate at Nalanchira in the wee hours of Thursday. Mr Radhakrishnan was travelling from his home to Thiruvananthapuram to attend the Assembly when his luxury sedan crashed near Paananvila around 12.45 a.m.
The car was being driven by Mr Jobin, who suspectedly dozed off, and the MLA was sitting in the rear seat. His aide Sajan Cherian was also in the car. The vehicle went out of the road, rammed into the electric poles and crashed into a house gate. A four-wheeler parked in the house was also damaged. The trio emerged out of the car to find massive damage on the bonnet, front cabin pillar and roof. They were taken to the MLA hostel and the vehicle was towed off.
