They come after a hashtag campaign #respectyourdoctor started trending on Facebook ever since doctors in Maharashtra raised protest over attacks by relatives of patients. Several Malayalam movie trolls show protagonist doctors bidding adieu to the family to last time as they venture out to casualty duty.
Memes by TMC Troll (Thiruvananthapuram Medical College) group lashes out at Bombay high court order that asked doctors to work quietly without demanding security. A meme edited out from Malayalam movie portrays Mammootty questioning senior judicial member on whether they have the courage to pass judgments without police protection in courts. Doctors question their overtime duty that stretches up to 36 hours by asking whether judiciary can give up their two-month holiday. A popular post put by Dr Nelson Joseph of VPS Lakeshore points out that the doctors have the right to turn down a patient.
