CPM is cooking up false stories: Kummanam Rajashekharan
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president Kummanam Rajashekharan denied any role in the bomb attack near Kodiyeri Balakrishnan's public meeting. The BJP leader accused CPM of cooking up the a false news to unleash violence across the state. The CPM had attacked nine offices of BJP and RSS across the state," he said. The CPM was linking the bomb attack with the RSS and BJP which has no role in the incident to create unrest in the state. Under the garb of Thalassery attack, the CPM was planning large scale violence against the RSS and BJP, he said and asked the Marxists to keep off the dangerous plan of unleashing violence.
He said opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala's statement linking RSS with the bomb attack on Kodiyeri's meeting, was substandard. Even the CPM has not alleged that the bombs were hurled at the stage from where Kodiyeri was speaking. "Chennithala is trying to please the CPM leadership. He should keep off from such tactics," he said. Meanwhile, BJP state general secretary M T Ramesh alleged that the bomb was carried by a CPM man who was present in the public meeting.
