AP govt not utlilising Central funds: Laxman

KAKINADA: BJP OBC Morcha national president K. Laxman lashed out at the YSRC government accusing it of not utilising Central funds properly. Speaking to the media at Eluru on Sunday, the BJP leader said that the Central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi took up projects worth Rs 25 lakh crore in various states to undertake development and Rs 10,000 crore was sanctioned to Andhra Pradesh. But, the Jagan Mohan Reddy government failed to provide lands and matching funds to the projects and the development in Andhra Pradesh is came to a standstill.

The BJP leader said that due to the failure of the AP government, the unemployed youth were migrating to other places for employment and it was not a sign of good governance. He said that the Central government sanctioned 25 lakh houses to the Andhra Pradesh government, but it could give land only for six lakh.

Speaking about Modi’s achievements, Lakshman said that many countries in the world were looking up to Modi’s leadership and he succeeded in improving relations with other countries.

BJP state president Somu Veerraju, state general secretaries Vetukuri Suryanarayana Raju, B. Sivannarayana and others were present.
