Hyderabad: Police raided a brothel house at Shaheennagar in Balapura police station area. Three of the organisers along with three customers wer arrested and nine women were rescued.
Acting on a tip off, the special operations team from LB Nagar raided the house and caught Md Maqsood Khan, 50 a autorickshaw driver from Chandrayangutta, his associate Md Ghouseuddin and a woman organiser. Additional DCP SOT Syed Rafeeq said, “The trio would lure poor women from the city with the help of Nikhat Sultana alias Bhabi. The girls were paid between Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000 a day.”
The nine women rescued have been shifted to a rehabilitation centre. In addition, the police arrested three customers—Md Majeed of Bandlaguda, Md Nazeer of Musheerabad and Md Suleman of Musheerabad. The police seized Rs 3,770 and 12 phones.
