As many as 2.31 lakh aspirants appeared for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 for 20 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).

BENGALURU: As many as 2.31 lakh aspirants appeared for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 for 20 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and top B-schools in India, held in two sessions at various centres across the nation on Sunday.

While the test appeared easy to some, a majority of candidates found it more challenging than expected.

A majority of post-test discussions outside the exam centres revolved around the Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation (LRDI) section, which many found difficult.

Krupa Bhatia, a candidate, said the questions under the section turned out to be totally unfamiliar. She added that she could perform well to tackle the questions related to Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability respectively.
