University of Hyderabad alumni overcame NPA physical training

Hyderabad: UoH alumni Chaitra Teresa John is the woman officer to win two trophies during IPS training.

Ms Chaitra bagged the trophies for best all-round lady probationer and the best lady outdoor probationer. A sociology graduate and former IRTS officer from Kozhikode, Ms Chaitra said that a woman can become whatever she wants with persistent effort.

Ms Chaitra was anxious on her first day at the NPA. “The First day, when we saw a demonstration of physical training, I was anxious about my physical capabilities and wondered. But with the immense support from the Academy, I could do it well,” she said.
