Telangana High Court to live-stream proceedings from October 10

HYDERABAD: On a day the Supreme Court began live-streaming the proceedings of its constitution benches, it was stated that proceedings of Court Hall No. 1 of the Telangana High Court (the bench usually headed by the HC Chief Justice) would be streamed live as a test measure from 10.

The Registrar of IT-cum-CPC said arrangements for the live-streaming were ready, and it would begin when the High Court resumed after the Dasara vacation.

During the pandemic period, the Telangana High Court had successfully conducted hearings in the virtual mode for nearly 20 months.

Anyone having objections to the live-streaming could raise it before the High Court, before the institution of the case or a later stage, the Registrar said.
