Forged negative RT-PCR certificates found to enter state at Kerala-Karnataka border
Mangaluru: Mangaluru Police have found people using forged RT-PCR negative certificates to enter Karnataka at the Kerala-Karnataka border.
As Kerala has a high positivity rate, Karnataka has made RT-PCR negative certificates mandatory for all who enter Karnataka from Kerala. Dakshina Kannada district administration has beefed up vigil on the border and conducts checking of the vehicles entering the district from Kerala.
On August 26, an Innova Car which tried to enter Mangaluru from Kasargod (Kerala) was stopped by the officials at the Talapady checkpost.
