Pervert flashes at Hyderabad teacher going to work

The accused was booked for outraging the modesty of the victim and remanded to the judicial custody.

Hyderabad: A 32-year-old man was apprehended by Rajendranagar police on Tuesday for flashing to a female pedestrian. The accused was booked for outraging the modesty of the victim and remanded to the judicial custody.

The incident took place around 9 am in New Friends Colony on Tuesday. The victim, 25, a school teacher, was walking to school from her house when she noticed Jacob, 32, standing beside a tree, flashing his private parts to her. Immediately thereafter she informed her husband about it following which, Jacob was caught by the locals and handed over the police.

It was found that the accused had already committed a similar offence in the last week, however, when the victim’s family members attempted to catch him, he escaped.

Rajendranagar inspector G. Suresh said that accused Jacob, resident of a neighbouring colony, worked in a company in Jeedimetla. A case was registered against him under section 354 of the IPC following which, he was remanded in judicial custody.
