Ex-scribe is inter-state ties adviser
Mr Ashok has been given responsibilities of inter-State affairs and rank of a Cabinet minister.
Hyderabad: The government on Wednesday appointed Tankashala Ashok, senior journalist as a special adviser to the state government.
Mr Ashok has been given responsibilities of inter-State affairs and rank of a Cabinet minister. Ashok had served as a reporter and editor of vernacular and English news papers and he is also winner of Sahitya Academy Award for his translation of “Vallabhai Patel Autobiography in English. In 2015, Mr Rao had given the inter-state affairs to D. Srinivas appointing him as the special adviser with the Cabinet rank for a period of one year. However, his term was not extended.
