Govt made TS a medical hub: Talasani

HYDERABAD: Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Saturday said that Telangana state has become a medical hub with the assistance of the state government. The minister inaugurated a 5K run at the P.V.N.R. Marg on the occasion of World Medicine Emergency Day. The Society for Emergency Medical India organised the event.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that everyone was taking health safety measures after the Covid-19 pandemic. The state government under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has provided the best facilities to make the state a medical hub.

“After the formation of Telangana state, the government spent crores of rupees for developing government hospitals, providing free medicine and other facilities in the state. Doctors in government hospitals perform major surgeries for the poor and middle classes which are at par with the corporate hospitals,” the minister said.
