MP Avinash's mother moved to AIG, Hyderabad

ANANTAPUR: Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy's mother Sri Lakshmi has been shifted to AIG Hospital in Hyderabad on Friday for better healthcare. Earlier, authorities of Viswa Bharathi Hospital in Kurnool, where Sri Lakshmi had been admitted on May 19 after she complained of cardiac issues, had discharged her following recovery.

The MP’s mother had been admitted to Viswa Bharathi after she fell unconscious at her residence in Pulivendula. At the time, CBI had served a notice on Avinash, asking him to appear before it on May 22. But Avinash Reddy remained at the hospital, expressing his inability to leave his mother because of her health condition.

A tense situation prevailed at the hospital premises in Gayathri Colony of Kurnool, where hundreds of YSRC leaders and cadres gathered to protest against the possible arrest of Avinash by CBI.

With his mother being moved to AIG in Hyderabad for better healthcare, the Kadapa MP also left for Hyderabad.

Avinash Reddy greeted his party cadres outside Viswa Bharathi Hospital before leaving for Hyderabad, expressing concern over the inconvenience caused to them.
