THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The vigilance legal wing on Friday clarified to the vigilance court here on the legal income of additional chief secretary K.M. Abraham. Considering an objection petition filed by activist Jomon Puthenpurackal against a vigilance report denying the alleged ammasment of illegal wealth by Mr. Abraham, the court asked the petitioner to state any further objections by Monday. The Vigilance counsel gave details of the income of Mr. Abhraham, including that of his family members.
Vigilance sources said the Vigilance quick verification report maintained that Mr. Abraham still has savings of Rs 38 lakh of his legal incomes and the allegation that he amassed illegal wealth was baseless. Meanwhile, Jomon said in a statement that the court had expressed doubts about the vigilance's findings.
