HYDERABAD: The state government generated a turnover of Rs 100 crore, said tourism minister V. Srinivas Goud on Wednesday in a review meeting conducted with the tourism department.

The minister said that because of the efforts of the state government, the Ramappa temple earned the Unesco tag and got global recognition.
“Telangana tourism department has taken action against companies that have taken leases in the name of development in the state and are not following the rules and not paying dues. We are trying to acquire land worth thousands of crores and expand tourism, ” said Goud.
