Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills police booked a case against film producer Paruchuri Kireeti for rash driving. Police said Kireeti had been speeding in his car on Jubilee Hills Road No. 44, 45, 46 in the last three days. Police patrol teams collected evidence proving Kireeti’s rash and dangerous driving.
Jubilee Hills inspector S. Venkat Reddy said the police booked a case against him under IPC 336 for rash driving. “We were alerted about his rash driving on Jubilee Hills roads. We identified the car and booked a case against him,” he said.
Sources said that Kireeti had also allegedly been stalking a girl, the daughter of a senior bureaucrat. He allegedly followed her when she came to learn dance at an institute in Jubilee Hills. She had complained about the matter to her father, who brought the issue to the attention of the police.
However, when police asked him about it, Kireeti said that he was playing Pokemon Go and that was the reason he was driving in those streets. Kireeti was the producer of Simha, Naa Ishtam and Shadow. His father Paruchuri Prasad is also a film producer.
