Bengaluru: Manjunath S, a First Division Assistant in-charge of IT implementation in the state prisons department, was conferred with ‘Sarvotthama Seva Award’ by the state government for his excellence in service.
Manjunath received the award from Chief Minister Siddaramaiah during the Republic Day ceremonial parade held at Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade Ground on Thursday. He was instrumental in implementing Prison Management System software and making the prison department go digital in its day-to-day operations.
