Tension at Tadipatri as JC protests against police

Anantapur: A tense situation prevailed at Tadipathri on Sunday after Tadipathri Municipal Chairman J.C. Prabhakar Reddy staged a protest against police for resisting the removal of the Flexi boards of the YSRC from the divider.

Reddy wanted to set up the decoration of the road dividers for the New Year's celebrations, and municipal staff were removing banners and flags of YSRC set up on the dividers. YSRC leaders forced the staff not to remove boards.
Sub-inspector Md. Gouse reportedly stopped civic staff from removing flags and flexi boards following YSRC leaders' demands.

Prabhakar Reddy rushed to the spot and staged a protest against the police for not cooperating with civic staff. After that, the trainee DSP reached the spot and convinced both groups. JC Prabhakar Reddy withdrew his protest.
