Hyderabad: Madhapur sub-inspector Rajeshwar Reddy has reportedly gone missing since Monday morning. Rajeshwar Reddy informed his family members that he was posted on Christmas bandobast and left his home at Rajendranagar but did not report for duty, sources said.
Later, he sent a message from his mobile phone to his wife, stating “Take care of the children,” and switched it off. It is reported that Rajeshwar Reddy, a 2014 batch sub-inspector, had issues with his seniors, sources said.
“Rajeshwar Reddy was supposed to report to the police station at 10 am but his mobile is switched off. We are inquiring with his family members,” a Madhapur sub-inspector said.
Madhapur police also intimated their Rajendranagar counterparts about the sub-inspector missing. “We are not sure what happened to him but his family members are concerned,” a police officer said.
