Since the out-patient department started in March, 16,500 patients had visited the hospital and 13,700 diagnostic tests were conducted.
A senior official said, “We will have 21 departments. Doctors from the existing pool will be posted in the hospital to build confidence among patients and ensure proper treatment.”
According to sources, the Telangana State Medical Services and Infrastructure Development Corporation is looking into the issue of supply of medical gases, installing fire fighting systems and development of other services in the building so that in-patient services can be started within four months.
