TD to extend relief of Rs 1 L each to affected fishermen in harbour fire mishap

November's massive fire at the Visakhapatnam Fishing Harbour has led the Fisheries department into declaring the harbour area a No Smoking Zone.
Vijayawada: Telugu Desam AP president K . Atchannaidu said his party would provide a financial relief of '1 lakh each to those whose boats were completely gutted, '50,000 each for those boats that suffered partial damage and '5,000 to each affected worker.
In a statement on Saturday, the TD leadership flayed the state government for its “failure” to extend adequate financial aid to the affected fishermen.
