Lead summit' to bring businessmen sharing ideas
KOZHIKODE: A group of industrialists leading many successful business groups of the state would share their experiences during the Lead summit -2016 on Saturday, organized in connection with the Rising Kerala industrial expo scheduled to begin on December 9. The international industrial exhibition is being organized with the cooperation of Calicut Management Association, department of industries, Kerala State Small Industries Association, Confederation of Indian Footwear Industries and Footwear design and Development Centre, Kozhikode.
The prominent names in the list of successful businessmen for the summit include George Paul (vice chairman, Synthesis), C Balagopal (founder, Terumo Penpol Limited), Sheela Kochouseph (MD, V Star Creations Pvt Limited), Paul Thomas (MD, ESAF Microfinance), Shivdas B Menon MD, (Sterling Farms Research and services), NK Muhammed (Chairman and MD , Vythiri Village) and Dr Saji Kumar MD ( Managing Director, Dhathri Ayurvedic) are some of the names who will be sharing their experiences during the sessions.
Rising Kerala organizing committee vice-chairman Rassack VKC told DC that going through the life stories of some of these personalities, it would inspire the younger generation of investors and would-be investors who have registered for the meet. “This is a new concept we are trying to introduce in the annual business meet and expo which would be one of the most attractive among the sessions”, he added.
Organized in three sessions, the summit will begin at 11 30 am. Deputy chief secretary industries and commerce, and power Paul Antony will inaugurate the meet. Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan would inaugurate the ‘Rising Kerala expo- 2016’, the three-day exhibition on December 9. The event with 320 stalls would focus on Footwear, engineering, plastic, wood, building and information technology, a press release said.
