Senior counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that Navaneethakrishnan had on October 10, posted a poem that he received on his Whats-App, on his Facebook , which was nothing but a satire on the current political scenario of the state. They deleted the same on the next day itself. They never had the intention to spread rumours, he added.
