Kottayam: Kerala Congress Democratic chairman Francis George has said that the Kerala Congress (M) and K.M. Mani who are accused of selling Budgets do not have a moral right to criticise the CPI of selling a Lok Sabha seat. Speaking to reporters at the Kottayam Press Club, Mr George said that it is very unlikely the KC (M) will join the LDF.
“The KC (M) is confused about which front to join after cutting ties with the UDF,” Mr George said. Referring to the incident of KC (M) leadership not insisting on contesting the Idukki Lok Sabha seat, Mr George alleged that was also an instance of selling a seat. The KC (M) had openly said that they didn’t need 2 LS seats.
