Telangana HC refuses to restrain AP-CID in Margadarsi case

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Monday refused relief to Margadarsi Chit Funds Pvt Ltd over a petition seeking that the AP-CID be restrained from revealing probe details in the public domain.

Justice C.V. Bhaskar Reddy was dealing with a petition which complained about a press conference by the additional DG of AP-CID, held in Hyderabad, where he revealed details of the probe to media outlets despite the investigation not being complete.

The judge directed the AP-CID to file its counter by July 20.
