AP potential market for shrimp business
VIJAYAWADA: CPF (India) chairman Pong Visedpaitoon from Thailand said their organisation has been at the forefront of promoting aquaculture in India for the past three decades. He said they are now focussing their investments in Andhra Pradesh.
Launching their two latest premium products here on Sunday, Visedpaitoon underlined that their aim is to help boost the productivity and profitability of Indian shrimp farmers.
Company vice chairman Kwanchai Chaipream said the two products being launched have been developed by their Thailand team, especially for Indian farmers. Further, they have sanctioned ₹600 crores for bringing in improvement in products, which will invariably help the Indian farmers.
Chaipream underlined that they are planning to invest more in Andhra Pradesh, as it is a big and potential market for the shrimp business.
