Vaccination of Haj pilgrims begins in govt hospitals

HYDERABAD: Vaccination of Haj-bound pilgrims started in four government hospitals at King Koti, Nampally, Khairatabad and Malakpet here on Thursday. It was delayed by two days because of technical problems.

In a swift reaction, Haj committee chairman Mohammad Saleem inspected the government hospitals at King Koti and Nampally. He directed medical and health department officials to take necessary steps for a smooth conduct of the vaccination programme.

He interacted with Haj pilgrims while Hyderabad district medical and health officer Venkat explained about the vaccination programme. Doctors Padma, Deepthi, Umera, Neha, TSHC AEO Irfan Shareef and others were present.
