Telangana: Medical aspirants' Eamcet set for July 9; result on 14
Hyderabad: The Telangana Eamcet for filling MBBS and BDS seats in various colleges in the 10 districts will be held on July 9.
With the Central government promulgating an ordinance to exempt a few states from the uniform national test, NEET, for this year, Telangana is conducting its own entrance test for filling seats in government colleges and in the convener quota of private medical colleges.
Online registrations will commence from June 1 till June 7 without fines. However, with a late fee ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 10,000, students can apply for the exam till July 7. The registration fee for the test is Rs 250 for SCs and STs and Rs 500 for others.
Hall tickets can be downloaded from July 2 onwards. Unlike the usual practice of holding the medical entrance test in the afternoon, this time the exam will be held from 10 am to 1pm. The results will be announced on July 14.
