HYDERABAD: Deputy mayor of Addis Ababa survived advanced laryngeal cancer after three major surgeries under the supervision of surgical oncologists at Yashoda Hospitals.
Ludciged was diagnosed with advanced throat cancer and admitted to Yashoda Hospitals. Four months ago, he experienced persistent coughing and was unable to breathe or speak.
Dr Sachin Marda, oncologist and robotic surgeon recommended laryngectomy, in which the larynx is removed and airway blocked.
