Thiruvananthapuram: Temperature to rise still
As per prediction, temperatures are likely to go up by 3 to 4 degrees at Alappuzha, Kottayam, Palakkad and Kozhikode on Tuesday.
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the wake of rising temperatures, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has issued an advisory for preventing heatstroke. According to Indian Metrology Department, temperatures are likely to rise in many parts of the state in the coming days.
As per prediction, temperatures are likely to go up by 3 to 4 degrees at Alappuzha, Kottayam, Palakkad and Kozhikode on Tuesday.
Temperature will go up by 2 to 3 degrees at Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kannur, Kasargode in the coming three days.
Symptoms of sunstroke are tiredness, giddiness, headache, muscle pain, severe perspiration, thirst, reduced count of urine and blisters on the skin.
