Hyderabad: Japanese national succumbs in a road accident
Hyderabad: In an unfortunate incident, a Japanese national who had come to Hyderabad to attend a conference, lost his life in a road accident at Rajenderangar. He succumbed to injuries on Saturday night, police said.
Go Takahasi, 44, a software engineer working in a Malyasian company had come to the city along with his wife Akiko Takahasi and a colleague from UP on March 19 to attend a conference at IIT Gacchibowli. They booked a cab from the airport and headed for a hotel at Gacchibowli, inspector G. Suresh said.
"When they reached Himayasagar area of ORR, an unidentified DCM van hit their cab from the left. The cab driver lost control and hit the divider on the road due to which the cab turned turtle," Mr Suresh said. Go Takahasi died during treatment at Continental Hospital on Saturday night.
