Tough physics paper stuns SSC students in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Students writing their S.S.C. exams had a tough Saturday thanks to the physics paper which many said was extremely difficult.
Some claimed the difficulty level of the paper left even the smartest students scratching their heads.
Usually, the difficulty level of each paper is set at 20 per cent for Class 10 exams. But both students and teachers said that this year, the difficulty level was well over 60 per cent — with more focus on applicationbased questions.
“Students have to secure a total of 20 marks from the combined Physical Science (40 marks) and Biological Science (40 marks) exams
“But due to the high difficulty level of this question paper on Saturday, most of the students might not even score more than 15 marks,” a teacher from the city said.
“Their fate now solely depends on the Biological Science paper that will be held on Monday,” the teacher added.
Meanwhile, Nagati Narayana, a teacher union leader has written to the education department urging it to constitute a panel to look into the question paper. The questions even stumped fully-prepared students, he claimed.
