CPM has nothing to do with Binoy row: S Ramachandran Pillai

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM politburo member S. Ramachandran Pillai on Thursday said the party had nothing to do with the allegations levelled against state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’s son Binoy. He told mediapersons in Delhi that the media was jumping to conclusion in connection with the allegations against Binoy. The financial transaction between two individuals cannot be termed as a financial fraud, he said.

Mr Pillai said that there was no instance of corruption or misuse of power in connection with the allegations of financial dealing. It is a complaint filed by a foreigner and the party cannot settle such issues. Moreover, Binoy has clarified that there is no case pending against him in Dubai, he added.
