Kozhikode: CPM central secretariat member E.P. Jayarajan has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was challenging the people of the country through demonetisation. “Only a few misguided people are supporting Modi now,” he said while addressing a commemorative function organised by the party near Sreekantapuram on Thursday.
“The process of buying and selling in the country has ceased. Demonetisation could have been implemented after taking adequate preparations. The country is fast taking a negative growth now,” he said. Criticising the RSS, he said that the surge of fascist forces by polarising people in the name of religion and caste was most detrimental.
