Hyderabad: Troubled after being scolded by her principal for not completing her homework and later, by her mother for being irregular to school, a class VIII student committed suicide in Hayathnagar on Thursday.

On Wednesday, school principal, Ms Pallavi, scolded her and on Thursday morning, when she was not willing to go to school, her mother Kala, a daily-wage earner, scolded her. Around 10am, neighbours who came to her house found Nandini hanging from the ceiling....
